Design Tips
Space, space and more space!
When looking at an empty banner template, you might find the amount of space overwhelming and feel tempted to fill it with as much information as you can. Before doing this, stop and think about the goal you are aiming for from your mesh banner.
If your banner is being used to promote a product, sale or offer – don’t overfill it. Identify the purpose and build from there.
If you are using your banner to sell a new product, make sure you focus on the main benefits and give your customers a clear message! Include company details and ensure your customers obtain all the information they need from your banner.
Make sure your banner can be read from a distance too!
Formatting you banner
Your banner’s format plays a vital role in the design. Make sure you banner is correctly formatted for easy reading and for the message to be clear.
For example, text should be arranged in a way that customers would naturally read – either from the top of the banner to the bottom or from left to right. Make sure your promotion is clearly placed along with the information telling them what to do to claim that offer.
It is important to show off your company logo and as one of the most important parts of the banner, keep it at eye level!
Colours
Think about your design and colour – what works well with your company branding? Can you attract more attention by adding a splash of colour to your display?
Fonts
Try to aim to use no more than two fonts per design. If you do want to add more fonts, make sure they complement each other!
Templates
